Exam
Preparation
To
help you in preparing for your exam, we offer helpful exam review sessions. We encourage all students to attend both review sessions to get the best out of your exam preparation process.
Posture / Practical
Review Session - In this 3 hour
prep workshop, we'll fully explain the Practical
Exam procedure, what the examiner is looking
for and how to prepare for it. You will receive
valuable information regarding the marking
system and answers to your questions regarding
the marking system and areas of examination.
In addition, you'll see a sample scoring example.
One volunteer will teach the basic principles
in front of the group and the Instructor Trainer
will score them as though it were an actual
exam. In addition, we will conduct a Postural Analysis review, so you have a clear idea of what is expected on the Postural Analysis portion of your Practical Exam. This is a great opportunity to see what
is expected during the Practical Exam and how scores
are determined. . . .and, maybe, to be the
brave one who volunteers.

Review -
In this 3 hour prep workshop, you'll learn all
of the muscles and anatomy information you're
expected to know for the exam - PLUS MORE. Anatomy
is learned by repitition - so hearing it again
will only help in preparation process. You'll
see slides of the muscles that are from the same
photos used on the exam. Muscles will be related
to the STOTT PILATES* exercises where appropriate.
This review is meant as an exam prep and will
focus on the information needed to do well on
the exam. You will have the opportunity to take a practice test with questions modeled after those on the actual written exam, including exercise questions, programming questions and anatomy questions. You will score your own practice exam privately. This is a great opportunity to find out what
areas need more study and whether or not you
are prepared for
Written Exam - AN EXAM PREP MUST. Be sure to
bring your Bryan Edwards Muscle Flash cards to
the workshop, as well as the Illustrated Essentials
of Musculoskeletal Anatomy book by Sieg and Adams.
